About Raw Materials & Recipe Stock
A tracking tool for small workshops that make their own products: soap, candles, cosmetics, food, coffee, jewellery or textiles. You enter your materials and a recipe for each product once; as orders arrive in ikas, the app deducts the materials used from its own stock according to the recipe and adds them back on cancellations and refunds. You see which materials are running low, how many more units of a product you can make, the recipe cost and what you need to buy, in one place. The app only reads ikas orders and products; it does not change ikas product stock, orders or the storefront.
- Materials: name, kind (Raw material / Packaging), unit (g, kg, ml, l, cm, m, pcs), current stock, minimum stock, target stock, unit cost (TRY) and a note. Archived instead of deleted, so history is kept.
- Manual stock actions: "Add stock" (receiving, optionally with a new unit cost), "Remove stock" (waste etc.) and "Count" (enter the counted value). Every change is written to the movement history.
- Recipes: A recipe per ikas variant, or one product-level recipe ("All variants") used by variants without their own. Quantities per 1 unit sold, in any unit of the material's dimension (g/kg, ml/L, cm/m, pcs).
- Automatic deduction on orders: For every new or updated ikas order, each line deducts recipe × quantity. If the same order is processed more than once, stock is still deducted once. Products without a recipe are not touched. Orders placed before the app was installed are ignored.
- Restore on cancel and refund: Cancelling an order puts the materials back. Refunds are controlled by the "Restore materials on refund" setting (on by default); a partial, per-item refund restores only the refunded units.
- Packaging rules (optional, off by default): Rules to deduct packaging per order (box, bag, label): material + quantity + item-count range. Deducted once per order, restored if the whole order is cancelled or refunded.
- How many more can I make: For each recipe, the units you can make with current stock and the material that limits it.
- Low-stock warnings: Materials at or below minimum are marked "Low", below zero "Negative stock". The overview shows a warning and a list. Orders are never blocked or edited, even if stock goes negative.
- Recipe cost: Calculated from material unit costs and shown next to the ikas sell price when known. If any material has no cost, the cost is shown as incomplete.
- Purchase list: Materials below minimum or target stock, with the quantity to buy and an estimated cost. CSV export is UTF-8 with BOM,
;separated, with Turkish headers. - Missing recipe warning: Products that have a recipe but some variants without one are flagged.
- Movement history: Per material: order deductions / restores (with order number) and manual changes, newest first, last 100 entries.
- Read-only permissions: The app asks only to read orders and products; it does not read customer data. It adds nothing to the storefront.
- Admin in Turkish (default) and English. Decimal input accepts comma (
0,5) and dot.
